MOMS next: A group for mothers of school-age kids.

At MOPS International we believe Better Moms Make a Better World. This is true during the preschool years and beyond. As mothers enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and hope remains. For this reason we offer MOMSnext, a ministry to mothers of school-age kids.

A MOMS next group is an open, accepting place for all mothers of school-age kids to come, just as they are, to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope. MOMSnext will encourage, equip and develop moms in the next phase of mothering.

Weekend Food Program - TIFFIN COMMUNITY YMCA

Statistics show that low nutrition prevents students from being able to fully concentrate on subjects being learned. Having the proper nutrition while growing up, learning could be less of a chore. If children could have one of their basic needs taken care of, they will feel healthier and be able to focus on the tasks in front of them enabling them to grow into more productive adults.

Food bags will be provided on Fridays at school. Each bag will consist of two breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. All food is portioned controlled and meets all FDA rules and regulations. Food bags will be available for pick up at the YMCA if your child(ren) are absent from school.

The YMCA has received funding through the United Way to provide a significant amount of food for the school year. We hope that this program will benefit your child(ren). Please look for information at the start of the school year. If you have questions, please contact Becky Harple at (419) 447-8711 or
